Roman Pavlyuchenko is close to agreeing terms with Birmingham City, according to his agent.
Speaking to ESPN, agent Dr Oliver Wendt said:
“We are talking to Birmingham and the problem is the transfer money.
“Both clubs are talking about money right now and I hope they find a way and Roman will move to Birmingham.
“I hope it will be done in the next two or three hours. I think 70% it will be done.
“You never know, something in the last minute something might happen. It is 70-75%.”

sorry to see him go he’ll do something for club but i feel that he’ll effect the rest of birmingham team , hurt mme to say this but aresnal would have been better bet – but that never going to happen in million years
This is lunacy on spurs’ part. Birmingham are 8th without a striker!
why on earth did we let Hutton go? and another right back on the same day. We could really top it off if PAV goes, he is a very talented player, been f….d around by us.
Not sad to see him go.
He didn’t really look too great, and at times didn’t perform whatsoever.
He falls behind players who were playing well, and has no intention of fighting at all. Just moans and quickly wants out because he wasn’t first on the sheet regardless of form.
Redknapp will have been annoyed by his attitude because he never wanted to fight for his place and said things far too early. That’s why Harry f…d him around after that.
Honestly how anybody can defend Pav is actually astonishing. Would never have been put up with from any other player.
Imagine Crouch had thrown several hissy fits after being dropped and shown no intention of fighting for his place…..
Birmingham are 8th not because of a lack of strikers but because of a lack of commitment to attack. Pav scores about one in ten of his chances, and will not get more of these at Brum.
Keane went instead, still can`t see Arry giving the lad a chance when fit again.
Pav staying and keano out,yes yes,
I think that letting Keano go to celtic and for Pav to stay, was the correct choice for Harry. Pav, in his last game, in which he scored showed that little bit of extra class that. tottenham may be missing up front
