Keane To Leave In Shock £1m Loan Deal As Sunderland Pull Out

The Mirror are today reporting that West Ham have emerged as favourites for the signature of Robbie Keane. However, it is being suggested that Spurs are demanding a £1m loan fee in addition to West Ham paying all of Keane’s £70k per week wages.

This comes after Steve Bruce moved to deny speculation that Keane would be heading to Sunderland: He said: “There’s nothing in it. I don’t know where it’s come from to be honest.”

Harry Redknapp has  insisted right up until this morning that the only likely departure, not including loan deals, will be Roman Pavlyuchenko.

The truth is in the ‘likely’.

  • I hope that Wolves will try to get our old Academy player Robbie Keane back on loan now that Pav is staying by your side. A total amount of £3m. for him to play at Molineux til the end of the season is a bargain, as it will secure us to stay in the Premier League. And he could live with his old friend Matt Murray in Wolverhampton. Wouldn’t that be great?!!http://tottenhamblog.blogishness.com/wp-content/plugins/smilies-themer/graemlins/finger.gif

I wouldn’t like the deal with west ham to go thought consider it was only year ago that west ham said they wouldn’t want to do any business with other Premier league team, it’s shame if we lose keane but still think he good player it taken him little longer than most to get over the world club lost , one other thing may be two places in top four up for grabs

i would be suprised to see keane leave today, he is favorite of arry hence he tries to play him whenever he can (left midfield).also if he sold him today it would be admitting that he got it wrong by resigning him which i am sure arry dosen’t like to do. put your money on pav being sold today, he wasn’t signed by arry. changing the subject this is the first transfer window where there haven’t been any rumours about jenas, do you think all the other premier managers have sussed him out? could we be stuck with him?

English clubs can buy until 5pm today but are able to sell abroad after this as other leagues windows shut later on – Russia’s for example ends in March.
