The sight of Luka Modric strutting his stuff again for Spurs may not be that far away now – in fact, he could be back in time for Spurs Vs Portsmouth on 17th October..
Here’s Harry Redknapp speaking on Luka Modric’s progress with the fractured fibula that he sustained against Birmingham last month.
“He’s coming along okay, it’s a matter of waiting for the bone to heal now,” Redknapp said. “We’ll see how it goes. We have a break of two weeks coming up after the Bolton game so that could be enough time to get him back playing after that international break.”
That would be incredible if true, I was expecting him to be out for at least two weeks more than that.
