Here’s Harry Redknapp gushing about all the signings he’s made…
“One or two players have made a difference here. Wilson Palacios has made a massive impact on this club – he gets on with it. He’s strong, aggressive and a big player for us.
“Sebastien Bassong has come in alongside the likes of Ledley King, Michael Dawson, Jonathan Woodgate, while Robbie Keane’s back and he’s a buzzy character around the place.
“We’ve brought a few players in and it has changed the mood. They see the likes of Wilson come in who work and close down and it rubs off on other people.
“You need players like that. He walks round like he’s pleased to be here and appreciates everything. He’s not a big-time Charlie. You need more people like that around you.”
“Niko[Kranjcar] is a player with great ability; a very good footballer. He can play in several positions – on the left, the right or in the middle, or even off the front man.
“He’s just a terrific footballer, great on the ball, he’s got everything to be a top player for us.”

“…while Robbie Keane’s back and he’s a buzzy character around the place”……YIRK!
Buying this bindipper back is the worst piece of business that Harry ever did. Not only does he insult the institution that is Tottenham Hotspur Captain – worn by legends in the past, now by a sellout failed traitor, but he keeps real talent from emerging ala Pav, GDS, etc. Whoever sold him for 22million was a genious, all that was required was to invest that money in someone worthy who wanted to be part of us…e.g. Arshavin who was waiting at the time.
WOW. i guess u lot can shut ur mouths for another week. maybe he wont score against bolton and you can continue where u left off. just support someone else ffs! (BTW while i like pav, his work rate is 10% of keanes)
In fairness Ronny, whether it was inspired to re-sign him or not, he has just plundered four goals….
Ronny, While Keane may not be in your good books for some past mistakes, he has without doubt done more for Spurs in his career that any of the others put together. Get behind the team of f off mate
Ronny mate, you have no idea, Robbie’s influence through out the club, in the dressing room and everything has had a massive influence, Pav is a lazy s***.. he has talent but does not show it enough.. Keane may not put it in the back of the net but he lifts the team, that is why he is our club captain, he left the club to fulfill a boyhood dream, something that 99% of the worlds population would do, no one had a problem with the captaincy he has before he left so why do they now, because he left the club, who cares he is back at tottenham and i’m glad he is back. so f off and get another team
Oh and considering he put 4 in last night, says just how important he is, movement and all,
Great timing Ronny…maybe you could come out with an ill-informed rant each week about one of our players hours before kick off…we’d end up winning the league.
Hey Ronnie, could you have a massive moan about Defoe and Gomez next weekend, they are both in my Dream Team…
I think making him captain was a bit of a gamble – but as above, he has just scored 4 goals – and you could argue it could have been 5 at the death on Saturday! Not many players have scored 5 in a game in the top flight!
I think he’s winning the fans over again, but can’t get complacent.
I couldn’t believe Defoe missing the target from about 5 yards after that brilliant move – sometimes you just need someone else to be clinical for a change!
