Various sources are reporting that Tottenham have made a last minute £2m bid to sign Watford and England U21 goal keeper Scott Loach.
Spurs have been chasing a back up goalkeeper for the whole of the transfer window after Carlo Cudicini was ruled out for the season following a motorbike crash.
David James, Ben Foster and Asmir Begovic had previously been linked heavily with a move to the club.
